MOVE OVER, JOHN BONHAM

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
-Led Zeppelin

Yesterday, I jammed with a young kid I met at the local locutrio (where we get Internet). We went to the east side of the city (East Siiiiiiiide!) and got a studio for
12 E for an hour. They had a decent kit and an amp for Evandro. The problem was the studio didn´t have any drumsticks (Malettas) and eveything is closed on Sunday except churches, bars and football stadiums. So I played with my hands and all Evandro knows is speed metal! I was sorely limited, having about nine inches less reach without sticks, but I got through it. At one point I thought I may have broken my right ring finger, but it´s fine. TO DO LIST: buy drumsticks this week. But I had a great time, and now I have a place to jam. Next Suday we´re going to try and jam with his mates. Coud there be a new metal band on the horizon? We´re already kicking around Gringo y Los Culos Mal (Whitey and the Bad Asses).

Time to teach another class! Hope your life is good today!

Mel and Jan, I miss ye.
