Back in DC. Rockville to be exact. Great to see Bryan and Rebecca who i hung out with on a weekly basis here. Back when i lived here, which I guess I don't anymore as i don't have a KEY to that house anymore. I guess I live in Madrid. I don't have a flat there now, but i do have a job, which is better. It's all so bizarre – truly.

Seeing Mitchell was awesome, but he sure does live like a bachelor. His house should be condemned when he moves out. His poor cat is morbidly obese (like when Homer Simpson adopted that Grinder Monkey and fed it too much). The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in a year and I've seen cleaner toilets in gas station. But it mattered not – we had a blast. We mostly hung out and watched baseball. I also went to LA BOCA (the mouth), the Mexican place he works at. I can vouge for their martinis!

Then a 400 mile drive back from Hartford. Left at 6:45 AM and got in at 3:30 PM (few stops in there). Now i mercifully stay put for a while. Hooray! I am worn thin of the road like year old guitar strings. Have driven over 1,600 miles so far. That's like almost to Denver.
I am trying ti use as many modes of transport as I can this trip. I still need to use a hang glider and a hot air balloon and then I think I'll have it covered. Oh yeah! Guiness Book of World Records – look out!

Mum and I saw the Simpsons movie. Great stuff. My Mum is too cool.
So what else? I'm doing laundry and stuff. Tomorrow i will get more stuff out of the old house.
I only got 3 hours of sleep at Mitchell's on Wed night, so i went to bed at midnight and slept til 12PM. Outstanding! You can take the me out of Madrid but can't take the Madrid out of me. Unless you do a spinal tap, which may work.

I love the Mets. I love the Nats.

I hate the Yankees. I hate the Redsox.

I am predicting a Mets – Angels world series, but I also wouldn't be shocked to see San Diego get there either. I say Angels win it all. Thank you for playing.

La Liga starts this weekend with Atletico playing Real Madrid. Que Buenisimo! It's at Santiago Bernabeau, so a home game for Real. Atletico is also close to securing a UEFA Cup spot. Dulce (Sweet)!

I could type here all day long. But I have fish to buy and barbecue. So i wish you well.
