Cock Mass

Mutilated in translation

I was teaching them Xmas vocab. One word was 'midnight mass'. A woman said, "Oh, en masa de gallo?" I said, "huh?"

"Cock Mass."

I said, "exqueeze me?"

"Cock Mass."

I burst out laughing.

It comes from the idea of the cock crowing at midnight. Which they don't. They crow at first light. But you get the picture.

So I explained the alternate meaning of cock and translated back;

"En masa de pene."

Now it was their turn to laugh their brains out.
