ATLETI!
They won last night, 1-0, against a very defensive and very good Deportivo side. So they have qualified for a shot to play in Europe´s top league - The Champions League. At worst, they play in the UEFA Cup.
The stadium was a sellout. And it was freaking loud!!!! I met some people in the park outside. Just young kids really. The one dude, Nacho (now that´s a name!), could not get it through beer soaked skull that I was from America, not Inglatera (England). It was funny. His friend´s even corrected him the third time. Well, better friendly and dumb than an A-hole and smart. Anyway, the whole experience was really a thrill. And then i walked home in 20 minutes. Just over the river and up Calle General Ricardo and i´m home. Woo hoo!

Land of Stupidity
It just took me over an hour and visits to 3 banks to deposit my pay from the Daft One. And the queue was long because this is San Isidro week so they cut their bankers hours from 9-2 to 9 to 12:30.
