I have an hour before the Mets start and i have edited half the novel so far. That's about 200 pages out of 400. The best part is that i still like it as i read it. And surpise myself with stuff i forgot!

It was 37C today and scorchifying. I have been in the shade on the terrace all day. That's like 99F. Now i remember why i leave very summer. My time is growing shirt here. How short i don't know but i can feel it in my bones. Two and half years is a long time. I'm 41 (I kind of hardly remember turning it)!

MAKE THE HEAT STOP. It's cloudy and getting humid. It's still 91F at 21:32! We will have thunderstorms tonight, quite possibly.

The Mets loss was so horrible last night! I hope for better tonight, but i think the Mets are pitching a guy who just got called up for the injured John Maine. The Mets need a change of karma!
