Voices

This place has a history
The Spaniards settled here
They burned the town and fields
They moved away from here

My grandma often told me
She knew it peaceful here
The war took all the vigor
War took the best from here

When the wind turns
And blows the leaves from the trees
Harvest moon

I see the days grow shorter
I feel the nights grow cold
Young people feelin' restless
Old people feelin' old

I sense the darkness clearer
I feel a presence here
A change in the weather
I love this time of year

James Earl Jones Voice:

I spoke with Darth. It was weird to hear the song of her voice - a tune I know by heart. She said she only got home yesterday. She had a cesarian after 14 hours of labor (karma´s a bitch). The baby was too big for her, the chord was wrapped around her creating a bungee chord effect, and she has a marginal pelvis or something- so they did a C section.

Annie is feeding and sleeping well (I didn´t ask how she feed´s thru Darth´s iron lung). She was able to lift her head after just being born, which is very rare. They put her on Darth's belly and she lifted her head to lie on the other side. The doctors were astonished.

Her cousin Vinny is with her (seriously). She took Annie yesterday for the paternity test. I should know on Monday.

Her full name is Ana Marchese Greco. Polish name, right?

It was very bizarre. I haven´t actually talked to her in over 100 days. She knows nothing of my life here, my friends or my adventures, or most notably that I am dating a hot Argentinian Doctor.

I told her to be well and that I loved her, which I certainly still do. Just don´t like her so much right now.

She said she missed me. I replied that it´s been crazy and that things work out for the best. That was as kind as I could be. I don´t miss her.

She said that many of our friends and neighbors have been incredibly helpful. Thank you, all of you. I truly appreciate that. She needs friends at a time like this. And doing so is being a friend to me. I can´t do it right now.

Soprano Voice

I was horrified to learn of what happened at Virginia Tech. I have so many friends who went there. I hope none of your friends or cousins etc. were hurt. Chris and James, thinking of you both.

The Europeans think we´re insane for allowing any asshole to buy a gun.

Dog Voice

Lodi NJ is underwater. Missy and Jan and Zeke had to be evacuated to the school across the street. HODER! My thoughts are with you!!! Get home safe and soon.

So unless California has fallen into the fucking sea, that´s all the bad and sad news I have to report.

Man. I prefer the posts that are all about sex, drugs and violence.

Does anyone remember laughter?
